Voloshyn Gallery showcased its talents at Untitled Art 2023, featuring Ukrainian artist Lesia Khomenko and Polish artist Karol Radziszewski. This event presents a dialogue between these Eastern European artists, exploring the complex and multifaceted concept of identity. Their art delves into the evolution of human experience in our rapidly changing world, offering a powerful commentary on identity in art.

Karol Radziszewski’s project “Antoine de Paris” pays homage to Antoni Cierplikowski, a Polish hairdresser who revolutionized hairstyling and challenged social norms. This work delves into the queer history of Eastern Europe, portraying Cierplikowski’s influence on both the art of hairdressing and societal attitudes towards eccentricity and homosexuality.
