Ellen von Unwerth explains her photographic ethos: “When I shoot women, I don’t ask them to act joyful and beautiful so I would not call that joy “unreal”. I like to have a lot of fun on set and bring out the energy and character of each person or model I’m shooting. What is interesting for me is to capture a pure and real moment of joy and to show it as it is.”

The exhibition at Park Hyatt Paris-Vendôme reflects the hotel’s rich engagement with the arts and fashion, showcasing its tradition of partnering with world-famous artists and galleries to create unique art experiences. Von Unwerth’s photographs will adorn the hotel lobby and Café Jeanne, offering guests a compelling visual journey. To make the experience even more remarkable, the hotel’s bartenders have whipped up an exclusive cocktail that’s inspired by the exhibition’s theme.
