As the mysterious world of metaverse grows more and more into our everyday reality, we try to keep up with the developing trend and make the innovations a part of our routine. In November, New York hosted the first NFT conference, which stayed unignored by all members of the Big Apple’s creative community. To our pleasure and a somewhat sense of satisfaction, by the time NFT’s became a normal subject of any average conversation, FXLB has been already working on the launch of our first digital Museum of art and fashion, a 3D space with spaces dedicated to our collaborators, philosophy and community, which also became our first major step towards «trending digitalization».
A couple weeks ago we opened the doors of the Museum to public by announcing the launch on our Instagram page. So far, we introduced our audience to spaces dedicated to Edward Acosta and Eternal Beauty — the first permanent line of FXLB, where the visitors could roam to from the snow-white corridors – a direct association with blank canvas an artist sees before getting down to work – of the main space. Our Museum is located in Manhattan, or, to be precise, its digital, partially imagined, grounds. So let’s talk about the idea behind the virtual image. We all know the answer to a question «is it hard being an emerging brand in NYC?» Renting a space, finding proper resources, controlling production, marketing, a team… the list goes forever. Building a startup in the city definitely requires a lot of patience and persistence, which we are obviously thankful for, however, when given an opportunity to escape the struggle, we wouldn’t wait a second. The idea of building our own virtual version of New York City and the Museum in it was not only less resource-requiring (should we even mention this?), but also opened unlimited opportunities to go as far as we want with our fantasies. Why would someone rent, buy, or build the space, when can build their own — someone 20-30 years ago wouldn’t understand, but today our reality shifts to metaverse, and the possibilities there are truly unlimited. We turn paintings into clothing, hang huge version of masterpieces on the walls, and imply many more kinds of magic. Pretty much, all our craziest dreams, some of which can be described even as slightly psychedelic, come true wishing a digital interpretation, while we also go hand in hand with present innovation.
