LV Dream is a free exhibition of a famous luxury brand, taking place in Paris until November 15, 2023. This is an opportunity to delve into the history of Louis Vuitton and take a closer look at the exclusive collections that have been created for 160 years. This is not just an exhibition, it is an opportunity to connect the past and the present, fashion and art, elegance and street style. To understand which changes Louis Vuitton went through; to get to know the brand’s collaborations with world known artists and its directions.

Have a look at the overview of the exhibition to get more inspiration and desire to take part in this “dream world”.

One luggage from the set of 9 with wildlife motives which was created in 20th century specifically for the film « The Darjeeling Limited » of Wes Anderson.

From an assistant of a master in manufacture of trunks to a symbol of luxury. The career of the young Louis Vuitton was rapidly going uphill: the attention of the entire Parisian beau monde was attracted by him. He revolutionized the world of suitcases. For this reason the exhibition starts from the collection of first creations of the founder of the brand that marked the beginning of his success.

Bag with holes which was recreated in 2021 by a Japanese designer Rei Kawakubo and was available only in Japan.

Collaborations of Louis Vuitton and talented artists from all around the world like Eko Nugroho, EL Seed specialized on art on silk have formed a synergy of cultures, epoques and different visions.

Studio in a Trunk in collaboration with Cindy Sherman. Inspired by stickers on luggages of Louis Vuitton, she created a great companion – a trunk with moments from her experience and life as a photographer.

Artistic directors of the brand continued to maintain a distinctive and recognizable style of Louis Vuitton with mix of materials, textures in collections during decades.

At the exhibition you can also buy gifts for you and your loved ones, find handmade chocolate, as well as have a meal in a cafe with a delicious menu by Louis Vuitton.
