2020 was promised an epic ending, with a courageous initiative of a fashion entrepreneur Anna la Germaine to introduce new business opportunities between UAE, Bahrain, and Israel, therefore proving inseparability of fashion and politics.
Thanks to the effort of Fashion Politique Ltd., lead by Anna la Germaine, the Israeli top-model and actress Yael Shelbia makes history, appearing for the first time on the cover of L’Officiel Arabia magazine. On the other hand, the popular Israeli publication Laisha will praise this grand moment by releasing their February issue with the same cover, and devoting the second one to Kenya-originated and Dubai-based gem Chanel Ayan.
The initiative united many talents, who paid tribute to the new chapter in history of Israel’s relationship with UAE and Bahrain. Both cover stories feature special FOXYLAB NY pieces, created in one-of-a-kind collaborations with Israeli and Arab artists to praise the milestone in countries inner rapport that has been finally reached. For L’Officiel Arabia, FOXYLAB has teamed up with an Israeli talent Talia Zoref, whose portfolio features illustrations of such fashion personas as Gigi and Bella Hadid, Kaia Gerber, Irina Shayk, and others. For Laisha, FOXYLAB partnered with award-winning Diaa Allam, the Dubai-based calligrapher, the founder of Na7t Designs, the first Emirati brand specialized in calligraphy in fashion and lifestyle. The talents’ significant artworks have become central pieces imprinted on FOXYLAB NY western street-vibe styles.
