“I believe that sports is another form of art, the rhythm and movement in sports can be easily captured through design.”
The name of your collaboration with Vladlena is "True Art". What elements helped you stay true to your artistic style in this collaboration?
As an artist, I love to use new techniques and approaches within my art. Using elements of line art allowed me to stay true to my artistic style, but I love exploring new styles of digital art. For this collaboration, I wanted the design to focus on Vladlena, showing the passion and movement through her playing handball, incorporating splashes of the Olympic colors, very meaningful to her, to show the overall piece as a burst of motion.
Name 5 occasions where the "True Art" t-shirt can be worn to.
The “True Art” t-shirt can be worn anywhere! I think that is the best thing about street fashion today. For example, this t-shirt can be worn during day-to-day activities, as a lounge item, to any sporting event, dressed up and dressed down.
Do you think fashion is a true form of art?
Yes! I believe fashion allows us to express our true selves.
What about sports?
I believe that sports is another form of art, the rhythm and movement in sports can be easily captured through design. The passion and motion can be compared to the arts.
You are from the UK, and your country was one of the motherlands of street culture, how does British street culture influence the world now? Can you give any examples?
The British fashion culture created the specific style of street fashion which has had a significant influence on the world. With many fast fashion trends which come and go, street fashion remains the same for many years, differentiating from these mainstream trends. This allows individualism and uniqueness.
For our new collection, we put together athletes and artists from countries all over the globe. How do you think it influenced the final designs? How did it influence yours?
I think the final designs will all be so unique to one another, allowing each design to stand out and shine. With all artists having their own artistic approach and style. I wanted to create a design that captured the movement of Vladlena, showing the true art of the game of handball, using collage techniques, to create an inspiring final design.

A thin edge of seduction and the consumerism fetish is thoroughly blurred in Acosta’s art in the use of both light, and dark tones. Bold lines serve as a fashionable juxtaposition of a peaceful dream-like state and a vivid color, representing action and presence in the moment.
