Describe your hometown Fortaleza in 3 words
For me, it is primarily associated with love, joy and family.
What emotions does beach volleyball make you feel?
Volleyball is my life. My parents met in volleyball. I grew up playing volleyball. Because of it, I got to know the world, met my husband and made all my achievements.
You collaboration with Meir is called “Do It with Joy”, explain how does it appeal to you?
I think our collaboration is amazing! Absolutely everything in my life I do with joy, love and a lot of dedication.
You have a daughter Isabella, does she like art, like painting, drawing, sculpting, etc? Do you spend time doing arts and crafts with her?
Isabella loves to draw and dance. She spends a lot of time filming dancing videos on tik-tok and I try to keep up, but she is so much better than me.
Describe the role of art in you life. What is your favorite kind of art (music, theater, cinema, photography, painting, architecture, etc.)?
Definitely music and dance. These arts are very present in Brazilian culture and even more so here in the Northeast.
In your opinion, is it important to be stylish being an athlete?
Certainly. It’s a way for us to express ourselves outside of competing.
Do people like streetstyle in Brazil?
Much! We are a very big country with a lot of diversity. Art and street culture are expressed in many ways: music, fashion, graffiti — are all very present here in Brazil. I was very happy to be represented in your collection at such an important time in my career.
