THEUNISSEN is a French-Belgian women’s clothing brand founded in Paris in 2019. Each piece is meticulously crafted in Parisian workshops. The designer, Ariane Theunissen, begins her first creations using fabric scraps from her father’s antique store.

The use of certain rigid and light materials leads her creative process to structure strong and elegant silhouettes. The iconic dress of the collection, recognizable by its XXL shoulder pads, was born from this heritage. The brand’s identity is based on these geometric cuts and tailoring.

The THEUNISSEN wardrobe inspired by this decade is marked by the myth of the executive woman in a suit with structured, even oversized broad shoulders.Some pieces pay homage to the icons of the 80’s like the Fonda pants and its surprising signature belt. This assertive look gives women a powerful armor to wear every day. A mix of pop and solid colors illuminates the X-shaped silhouettes.
