“Unite in Style: Yarikazu x Mabi Swimwear’s Limited Edition Collection is an Artistic Fusion of Individuality and Significance.”
Mabi Swimwear is making waves this summer with its latest limited edition collection of hand-painted swimsuits, created in collaboration with indigenous activist Yarikazu Xipaya. With their eye-catching designs, these unique swimsuits showcase the beauty of indigenous painting art and bring attention to the urgent need to protect the Amazon Rainforest and its people.
As a brand that’s already known for its sustainable and eco-friendly philosophy, Mabi Swimwear sees fashion as a powerful tool for promoting social and environmental causes. By incorporating the aesthetics of indigenous art into their products, the brand aims to appeal to trend-conscious consumers and raise awareness about the importance of preserving our planet’s natural beauty.
But the Yarikazu X Mabi Swimwear collection is more than just a stylish statement. It’s also a philanthropic effort, with 100% of the profits going towards supporting Yarikazu’s education at Law School. Yarikazu, a passionate advocate for the preservation of indigenous culture and traditions, is using her education to fight for the rights of her people and the Yanomami village, where she calls home.
"I realized that I have to fight with pen and paper and not with bow and arrow" - Yarikazu Xipaya.
Yarikazu Xipaya is a warrior on a mission. Armed with her education, she’s fighting for the survival of her village and the preservation of her people’s ancestral traditions. Despite living 18 hours away by bus from the Law School in Belém, Yarikazu is determined to complete her studies and use her knowledge to make a difference.
To support her studies and her mission, Yarikazu makes paintings using sustainable materials, raising funds to form the Association for the Defense of Indigenous Peoples. Through this organization, she’s working to promote humanitarian and ecological causes, while also preserving the rich cultural heritage of her people.
MABI Swimwear isn’t just about making stylish and eco-friendly swimsuits. They’re also using their brand as a platform to raise awareness about the urgent need to protect the Amazon Rainforest. And they know that one of the most powerful ways to do this is by partnering with indigenous peoples.

A thin edge of seduction and the consumerism fetish is thoroughly blurred in Acosta’s art in the use of both light, and dark tones. Bold lines serve as a fashionable juxtaposition of a peaceful dream-like state and a vivid color, representing action and presence in the moment.
