She has a decade of experience in this field, had her own agency, was a member of union of designers in Europe, and she is one of the admins at Behance Community.
For past 4 years she became a creative director in digital marketing agency based in New York. Her clients are featured on Netflix, CNN, The New York Times etc and her projects consistently win design awards and mentions in different media. On a free time she switch her passion from design to painting and DJing. Also Oxana is a feminist.
I dreamed about this city since I remember myself, I was raced on American movies, TV-shows and music. So I think I never had a chance to choose, this city chooses me. Now I understand that NYC is not as I imagine myself but so much more interesting and diversified. This city is fill with the most interesting, creative, smart people I ever knew. I love this place, mostly because of people and crazy energy.
I worked with almost any industry possible I think. For a very long time I was focused mainly on fashion and beauty because it’s my passion. I worked with a companies like Loreal, Cover Girl, Skin Ceuticals etc. But for the last couple of years I focused mostly on legal and medical industries.
For me it’s 2 completely separate parts of my life, parts of me. I focused, organized, goals oriented during the day, and crazy, free, wild during the evening when I paint. And it’s all me.
I truly believe that nothing is hard to manage if you truly passionate about something you’ll find a time for it, you’ll make it a priority. I barely have a free time in general, because I’m filling my day with things that’a are important for me.People love to find the excuses, that’s our nature. But we need to learn to catch that and reflect on that to find possibilities instead.
To understand my art you need to understand a little bit about me. I’m a feminist, and strongly against radical feminism. I’m trying to educate people what it’s actually mean to be a feminist and why everyone should be, including men. I think that now we at the moment when it’s time to unite not separate women from men to be stronger together, to accept our similarities and differences, to help and support each other, not blame and being angry on. We are all human beings. Main idea you can see in my art is showing that female nudity is natural and beautiful, you can see the concept of open healthy sexuality which is very important for every person. Some of my works saying that without having a real life experience through exploring sexuality and your inner self your education is not actually complete in this life.
I will describe you my perfect date with myself and the city. Usually on weekend I go to one of my favorite coffee shops in the city, getting perfect Matcha and go across the street to walk in the galleries in Chelsea. Few blocks full with different galleries and amazing art. Few of my favorite ones are Die Chelsea and Gagosian for example. From the moments like that I got inspired and motivated. In every day life I never stop looking on different designers, artists and always checking new interesting projects in design and art.But if you really want a nice day with yourself and self reflection- go to galleries in Chelsea.
Why do I need to choose? You know, I think it’s a general problem for a lot of people. They think that they can only do one thing to be good at it. I disagree with that because that’s not working for me. If I would have only one job, 90% chance I would be very bad at it because I would get bored really fast.
The ability to do things despite fear. I’m pretty much afraid of everything, but probably my ambitions tell me every time just to close my eyes and take a step. “And I wish everyone can go towards your dreams and goals despite fear. The thing I realize recently that actually everyone is scared, but why it should stop you?”
