Design Miami shows the world of extraordinary collectible designs of furniture, lighting, jewelry and objects of art by bringing together galleries, designers’ studios, brands, experts, collectors, and industry enthusiasts.
The edition takes place along side Art Basel in Miami each December and Basel, Switzerland, each June. The 18th edition of the fair takes place in Pride Park, opposite the Miami Beach Convention Center.
One can visit the fair and discover the world’s leading galleries under one roof or shop on-line for art objects or art worthy furniture. Design Miami is accessible via designmiami.com, their content-rich digital marketplace.
The theme of this year fair has been chosen by Maria Cristina Didero, a Curatorial Director. The name of the theme is The Golden Age: Looking to the Future. The concept unites experiences across cultures, through time and space, celebrating diverse histories of craft and tradition to shape our shared future.
The Golden Age also refers to the past time of prosperity, it epitomizes hope for the future. It celebrates a tomorrow of our own creation, a source of inspiration to imagine and shape a brighter future for our planet.
We have been visiting Design Miami for nearly 15 years and only missed few years because of Covid. We were thrilled to go back and find so many mindblowing pieces of art, this is the most exqusite fair up to a date.
