What is LVMH Les Journées Particulières?

LVMH Les Journées Particulières
LVMH Les Journées Particulières was born in 2011 with the goal to introduce the public to the heritage, craftsmanship and savoir-faire behind its Maisons. It is not a traditional exhibition, the event shows people directly into the places where luxury objects are made and shows all the kitchen behind it.

Depending on the house, visitors can go to a couture atelier, a jewelry workshop, explore historic archives, visit a vineyard, and meet artisans responsible for techniques that have been preserved for centuries.

All these events are educational, fun, and have a feeling of magic, luxury, and history behind them. The experience is designed to show that luxury is a complex phenomenon and it is not only about the finished product.

It is also about the people, the process, the materials, the knowledge, the story behind it and the places behind it.  LVMH Les Journées Particulières experience is also to make any regular person closer to and more “relatable” to luxury, explain what “luxury” is.

The 2026 edition is centered around the theme “At the Source of Dreams,” focusing on the origins of creativity and the craftsmanship of an exceptional object.

A Different View of Luxury

Consumers increasingly want to understand where products come from, how they are made and why it commands such extraordinary prices. Les Journées Particulières allows LVMH to answer some of those questions without relying only on advertising.

When is Les Journées Particulières 2026?

LVMH Les Journées Particulières 2026 will take place on: October 16, 17 and 18, 2026. It takes place across multiple countries with France remaining one of the main destinations for visitors because of the concentration of LVMH Maisons.

Which LVMH Houses Participate?

Les Journées Particulières brings together brands from across the LVMH portfolio and the program includes names associated with fashion, jewelry, perfume, wines and spirits, hospitality, and craftsmanship.

Here are some of the participating houses: Dior, Louis Vuitton, Chaumet, Guerlain, Fendi, Loewe, Loro Piana, Berluti, Tiffany & Co., Maison Francis Kurkdjian, Ruinart, Veuve Clicquot, Hennessy and several prestigious wine estates. Some experiences take place inside internationally famous properties and others introduce visitors to less familiar production sites. And these sites are rarely accessible to the general public.

Why Are Les Journées Particulières Reservations So Difficult to Get?

LVMH Les Journées Particulières 2026

One of the first things visitors usually discover when trying to attend Les Journées Particulières is how fast experiences become fully booked. Sign up for Les Journées Particulières email updates and as soon as you get notified about a new open doors event, book it immediately, don’t wait.Reservations for the 2026 edition were released in several waves in late September, with different Maisons becoming available on different dates.

The reason reservations go so fast are quite obvious – many tours take place inside working ateliers, historic buildings or small workshops that simply cannot accommodate large groups. Demand is also extremely high because Les Journées Particulières does not take place every year. Each edition of Les Journées Particulières feels more exclusive than a regular annual open-house event.

Can You Visit Without a Reservation?

Yes, and this is one of the most useful things to know about Les Journées Particulières.

LVMH has a number of locations accessible without reservations during the event. For 2026, the list includes several important locations in France, but again it is subject to capacity.

Walk-in access does not guarantee entry. If you try to walk in, you should expect long lines, especially at the most recognizable Maisons.

Among them are the Chaumet Hôtel Particulier in Paris, Galerie Dior, Fondation Louis Vuitton, Guerlain’s historic Paris location, Berluti, Bvlgari and several important wine and spirits properties.

Final Words: What Makes the Event So Special?

Luxury brands frequently organize exhibitions, pop-ups and presentations. Les Journées Particulières is different because the attraction is often the place itself. Visitors heading inside the rooms where a craftsperson works every day, visitors can observe specialized work that exists behind objects.
The event also highlights professions that rarely receive the same visibility as designers or creative directors, those people are embroiderers, leather specialists, watchmakers, jewelers, cellar masters, perfumers. During the event Les Journées Particulières makes artisans become part of the luxury fashion story.

How often does LVMH Hold Les Journées Particulières?

There is no fixed schedule and since the first edition in 2011, the event has returned at irregular intervals. Previous editions were held in 2011, 2013, 2016, 2018 and 2022 before returning again in 2026. Missing one edition does not necessarily mean another will take place the following year. The next opportunity could be several years away.

How to Find Out About the Next Les Journées Particulières

Find out about the event through LVMH directly. Visitors interested in attending should subscribe to official Les Journées Particulières updates and follow LVMH’s announcements.

Which Experiences Are Worth Prioritizing?

The best strategy is to look for locations that are normally closed to the public. Before reserving a place, check whether the same site can be visited during the rest of the year. If it can, another workshop or private property may represent a much rarer opportunity.
