Her red carpet style is very confident. She generally favors attractive architectural shapes. She chose to wear a custom silk dress in a bold burnt orange color for the 2025 Golden Globes.
The outfit was created by fashion artist Nicolas Ghesquière for Louis Vuitton. It was created to honor the artist Joyce Bryant recognized as the Black Marilyn. She combined t he look with matching LV stiletto pumps in the same orange satin. Her accessories included a diamond and emerald choker necklace and other diamond pieces from Bulgari.

Zendaya made one of the evening’s most memorable arrivals at the 2025 Met Gala, stepping onto the blue carpet in a striking monochromatic white look. She wore a sharply tailored suit paired with a dramatic wide-brimmed white hat. The look perfectly complemented 2025 year’s exhibition, “Superfine: Tailoring Black Style”

A good example of this was the Spider-Man press tour where she wore a red crop top and blue sequined skirt from Gianni Versace’s Fall/Winter 1997 collection.

Zendaya had some interesting fashion choices especially while promoting Dune. She seems comfortable taking risks that most others wouldn’t touch. We often saw her lean into sharp silhouettes and heavy metallic materials. Everybody knows that the archival Mugler bodysuit of hers from 1995.
That was the piece that really grabbed everyone’s attention which was a full robotic look with plexiglass panels. That felt less like a red carpet outfit and more like something pulled straight from a sci-fi set. It gained so much traction online because it fit the atmosphere of the film so well.

During an appearance in Amsterdam at the Spider-Man: Brand New Day photo session. She was wearing a personalized Louis Vuitton tailcoat from the Cruise 2027 collection.
The look displays a martial profile having a unique visual association with the movie. What appears as a bold white motif on the front side is actually a set of silver and white strips sewn over the jacket to give the impression of abstract spiderweb designs.

We saw her in a sporty style in a recent photoshoot in Berlin. She was wearing a red Coach football jersey tucked into a beige plaid midi skirt. She combined the look with chocolate brown pointed toe pumps. This style balanced the casual feel of the jersey and showed how she blends different styles without much effort.

Zendaya also shows that simple styling can be powerful through monochromatic looks. Rather than using many colors, she mostly focuses on shifts to monochrome and one color looks, texture and draping. She wore a black Louis Vuitton two piece leather outfit in Berlin recently at a Spider-Man: Brand New Day fan event, which was a waistcoat and a low rise maxi skirt.

She is also known for daring designs and bold cuts. One of her more discussed outfits was the metallic magenta breastplate by Tom Ford. The piece was molded to her torso and worn with a long skirt & braids. It looked like a piece of sculpture rather than traditional clothing.
It created a contrast between the hard material of the top and the soft flow of the skirt. It’s a good example of how she uses proportions to create a specific visual impact.

This complex look highlights her real appreciation for craftsmanship. In Amsterdam she wore a sheer Alexander McQueen dress with metallic flowers embroidered by hand under a heavy opera coat. It showed a high level of detailing and maintained a very clean overall look.

Balmain brought in Robert Mercier, a French leather artisan, to handle the technical side of the construction. Since the dress had to fit her perfectly to maintain the illusion of that specific look, they actually had to cast her torso. This gave Mercier a precise 1:1 mold to work with so he could shape the leather into what looked like a liquid sculpture.
